This is a vintage American quilt made circa 1970's-1980's. It is a VERY rare Strawberry Applique Quilt Pattern. This piece has been in Lady Lancaster's personal collection for review and research and development. The strawberries are hand appliqued with consistent stitching. The quilt fabrics are a poly/cotton blend, in keeping with popular fabrics from its era. This quilt is NOT hand quilted. In our opinion, the quilt is thin, soft, very light and comfy to wear. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
